SEFS aims to partner with Institutes and Universities to enhance their capabilities in the area of finance education. SEFS' high end finance education programs can be embedded in the curriculum of institutes or offered in parallel with existing programs that the institutes offer. SEFS is fully geared up to support its partner institutes through faculty development programs, high quality content, learning methodology and technology, and placements of students.

Over the medium term, SEFS aims to become a leading research and teaching organization in the area of finance education in India. To achieve this objective professorships will be created in the partner institutes and universities with faculty being supported with appropriate incentives and research funding. Fundamental and applied research projects will be launched in some key areas of finance and banking.
